Haiti sees deadly crackdown on anti-government protests

Police open fire on demonstrators calling for President Jovenel Moise to step down over alleged systematic corruption and rising living costs.

At least five people have died in anti-government protests in Haiti which have been ongoing for almost a week.

There is anger over rising costs, economic stagnation and corruption. Demonstrators want President Jovenel Moise to step down.
